  3. Changes-> version 1.0 to 1.1.  A LOT of bugs  have been squashed, LAZi
  4. has really been fumigated.

  6. * There are two versions of the LAZi executable in two directories in the
  7.   LAZiv11.lzh archive.  The directory, LAZi_13/, contains the LAZi executable
  8.   and LAZidefaults file for Workbench v1.3.  The directory, LAZi_204/,
  9.   contain the files for Workbench v2.04.
  10.  
  11.   The main difference is the Workbench color swap, PLUS the v2.04
  12.   version's Main window is an Application Window.  Just drop the icon(s)
  13.   for the archive anywhere within the window and LAZi will extract all
  14.   the files in the archive to the DST directory (see docs for DST
  15.   explanation) with expanded paths.

  17. * Archiving directories in Options window now functions correctly.

  19.     LAZi will archive subdirectories using LHarc, LZ, and Zoo.

  21. * LAZi now returns to the window it was iconified from.

  23.     LAZi attempts to free unused memory when traversing windows; a short
  24.     delay may occur.

  26. * LAZi now partially supports LZ by Jonathon Forbes.

  28.     LZ  support was added due to requests.  I say partially because LAZi
  29.     will NOT add/create .lha files (it will add/create .lzh files) although
  30.     it will unarchive and list them using LZ.  If LZ is in your default path
  31.     (see docs) LAZi will use it.  If not, it will use LHarc, if it exists.
  32.     If you do not have LZ then LAZi may produce an error when trying to
  33.     manipulate .LHA files.  LAZi was tested with LZ version 1.92.

  35. * LAZi's windows are 'sticky'.
  36.  
  37.     Sticky, in this case, means that when you position a window, go to
  38.     another, then return, the window will redraw in the position you last
  39.     left it. The redraw is rather 'ugly' right now but I hope to smooth this
  40.     out.  This function is mostly for those who use an overscan workbench.
  41.     LAZi will save, in the config file, the positions of the iconified
  42.     and main window (see the DEFAULT  section in  the doc file).  You must
  43.     reposition the OPTIONS and VIEWER windows if restarting LAZi, for now.
  44.     I recommend using the ZOOM gadget for resizing due to speed and esthetic
  45.     considerations (or lack thereof) :^)

  47. * "«" (SRC/DST to defaults) button added to Main window.

  49.     In the previous versions clicking the RMB (right mouse button) would move
  50.     you to the Main window and reset your current Source directory to default.
  51.     This was a pain if you were 3 directories down in the Options window and
  52.     just wanted to return to the Main window with the current directory.  Now
  53.     clicking the RMB will still return you to the Main window with your
  54.     current SRC/DST directories.  The "«" button will reset the Source and
  55.     Destination directories to default.

  58. Due to the size of the total archive (two versions and whatnot) I removed
  59. the 'deckrunner bound' (small) version of LAZi.  I will upload the
  60. unbound version onto Portal shortly.
